Bluetooth speakers have become so common nowadays that the only thing that surprises the market is the structure. Creative manufacturers tend to grab the spotlight with the designs of their Bluetooth speakers. Still, regardless of the appearance, people buy them due to their convenience, especially for music enthusiasts. Well, our beloved music enthusiasts aren’t the only ones in the market but actual musicians, as well—or aspiring ones, even.

Some companies are quick enough to catch on to this kind of need. As such, portable speakers with guitar amplifiers now exist. But how great are these? Surely, there must be features that can satisfy a musician and music enthusiast at the same time.

We have here a list for you that we believe are, by far, the best among the rest. Of course, there are several missteps by some companies with this combination of devices but rest assured, we only bring the best speakers to the table.

Who this is for

These speakers that are compatible with Bluetooth and have Guitar Amplifiers, as well, are for both music lovers and aspiring musicians. These speakers are supposedly easy to bring around so, if you’re the type to hold a guitar and sing in public out of sheer enjoyment or for a different purpose, this article is definitely for you. It’s also quite wonderful to think you can play your guitar with the amplifier while letting a song play as you strum with it. If you’re an aspiring musician and want your amplifier with a speaker to passively listen to music, this article is calling for you.

How we picked and how we tested

The experts here at only want what’s best for everybody, looking for what fits their needs in terms of music. There were several surveys and meticulous research to narrow down the best ones. It isn’t always cupcakes and rainbows in this field but testing out devices while thinking of the greater good of the consumers is fun in its way.

The Best Wireless Speakers with Guitar Amplifiers

Line 6 AMPLIFi 150 Guitar Combo Amplifier

To start the list off, we have the Line 6 AMPLIFi 150 Guitar Combo Amplifier for you. There are three variations of watts to choose from on Amazon: 150 watts, 75 watts, 30 watts. Either of them depends on how heavy you plan to use the amplifier plus speaker Line 6 AMPLIFi 150. The speaker measures 16.3in x 22.6 in x 9.5 in and weighs 36.5lbs. Of course, an amplifier will never be light enough to carry around, but 36.5lbs is a good weight for a speaker and amplifier combo.

You can do wireless streaming and even audio editing with the Line 6 AMPLIFi 150 on your Android, iOS, PC, and MAC devices. The speaker’s guitar input is ¼ inches, while the Stereo AUX input is 1/8 inches. For the headphones, the output is ¼ inches. Recording your audio with this speaker is also possible as long as you set AMPLIFi as the interface of the recording software you’re using. It’s also possible to toggle with the speaker’s settings from afar through its remote that you can install on your device.

Vox Adio Air GT

Next to the list is the Vox Adio Air GT. Yes, it is a speaker and guitar amplifier combination. What you might not expect about this one is the size. Unlike the Line 6 AMPLIFi 150, the Vox Adio Air GT is rectangular, measuring 8.23 x 15.98 x 10.08 inches—almost half the size of the Line 6 AMPLIFi 150. The speaker also only weighs 3.3 kilograms, making it easy to move around whenever you want to. Which, we believe, is an advantage. Vox Adio Air GT’s output wattage reaches 50 Watts and can produce guitar sounds such as the crunch of an AC30, classic cleans, high-gain overdrives, and more!

The Vox Adio Air GT has three in-stereo speakers, and its jacks, ports, and volume controls are on the topmost part of the speaker. The stereos have metallic grills covering them with diagonal strands for the sake of design. Please make sure to have 8 AA batteries ready when purchasing the speaker.

Blackstar Fly 3

The Blackstar Fly 3 speaker only carries 3 Watts, making it pale in comparison to the two speakers above. Still, it is worth gaining a place in the rank because this speaker is easy to carry around for those who like to perform in public. Not to mention, it’s fairly affordable on Amazon. Although a different design is a limited edition, getting either of the two will produce the same result.

Blackstar Fly 3, like the Vox Air GT, needs 6 AAbatteries to work. Many will find the speaker’s size too small to be effective, but that’s where the speaker will prove anyone wrong. Despite its size (10.3 x 8.2 x 6.7 in), it blasts powerful music. With Blackstar’s Infinite Shape feature, you can toggle with the sound effects, and the onboard tape delay will give your music good distinctive resonance.

The Blackstar Fly 3 is good for practicing and harnessing your guitar skills.

Fender Mustang GTX 100

The Fender Mustang GTX 100 is, by far, one of the many speakers with a guitar amplifier that is popular in the market with more positive feedback than negative. You can choose between 40 Watts, 100 Watts, and 200 Watts—Fender Mustang GTX 100 with 100 Watts is the one with the most purchases. The speaker measures 27.4in x 22.6in x 13.2in and weighs 28lbs. Fender Mustang GTX 100 is good for practice whether you’re in your room or the living room. The sound the GTX 100 produces is quite impressive, given the size. Its features include Wi-Fi Connectivity, Smartphone Control, Onboard Effects, and USB Connectivity.

Although we’d like to add more, there aren’t any other speakers with guitar amplifiers worth taking notes of due to the downsides being a huge disadvantage. That aside, here are a few questions that consumers commonly ask. Hopefully, the answers we provide will clear your mind, as well.

Should I get a speaker with a guitar amplifier that is small in size?

If it’s just for practice, of course, you can give Vox Adio Air GT a try. It’s lighter than the other sample speakers and has a good sound grasp. As long as it’s a comfortable size for you, the speaker and guitar amplifier combo should be satisfactory on your end.

What’s the difference between getting a Bluetooth speaker and a combination of amplifier and speaker?

The main difference to this would be your interests. If it’s just to vibe with songs, you can opt for a simple Bluetooth speaker. If you aim to practice and hone your guitar skills AND let the song you’re practicing play in the background without using a different speaker for it, get the combination of both.

Wireless speakers combined with guitar amplifiers are not something anyone could imagine companies manufacturing. But here we are. And it’s a good thing, especially since there are so many more talents out there that the world should know about. Either way, as long as you keep your interests in mind when purchasing a speaker and amplifier combination, you’ll know what to look for in the market as you browse through.
